Went in at 11:45 after checking in online, when I arrived I had 10minutes left to wait so I sat down to wait, expecting to get my hair started at 12:00. The board even said another girl was coming in at 12:00 who didn't get there till I was leaving, I was there until 12:35 the board with the wait times said I was on deck for 35 minutend had to leave to go to work, including the online check time it took 1.5hrs, I'm just glad I checked in online and didn't have to wait the whole time. Not happy at all

I typically never write reviews, in fact this is my first but I really feel the need to share my experience. I’m new to Wichita and haven’t went in to this particular location enough to know who I like so I chose first available. The woman informed me that there wasn’t any notes on my profile which came as a disappointment because I actually really liked the last haircut I received at the store. I told the last hairstylist to update my notes and apparently she forgot. With that said the new lady asked me how I liked my haircut and I told her I didn’t know exactly how to describe it but I had one request and that was not to cut the side of my head with clippers, instead I asked her to please use scissors. (I then proceeded to show her a pic for reference) She took it upon herself to forgo that request and began buzzing away with the clippers before I could stop her. She cut me way too short, shorter than I’ve had in years so I proceeded to ask her why she chose to use the clippers instead of the scissors like I had asked. She told me that because I wanted my hair to have sort of a fade look on the side, she had to use clippers instead of scissors even though I’ve had it done this way for years. After it was too late she proceeded to cut away with the clippers, almost violently shearing my scalp. She was doing it in a way that was semi aggressive and definitely not comfortable at all. In fact it hurt . Once the haircut was over she didn’t offer to show me the back of my head but instead sort of ushered me straight to the front desk to have me pay. Once I was back up at the front desk, I told her that everything with the haircut came out OK besides the length on the side and I asked if she could please update the notes this time. After I said this she said, “trust me, because you gave me such a hard time today I am updating your notes immediately that way the next person knows not to use clippers.“ I told her I did not mean to give her a hard time but was simply just stating the fact that she went against my original request. She proceeded to tell me that it’s not possible to do a fade with scissors and tried to talk to me in a condescending way. This whole experience was honestly really embarrassing as she made me feel stupid for simply asking to get a fade done with scissors. Her rude behavior and reluctance to honor my request makes me not ever want to go to this sports clips again. I clearly stated that I wanted only scissors and she took it upon herself to pull an audible and cut my head the way she thought would be best. Honestly felt like I was not a valued customer, rather just another number or another person to make money off of. I feel like she was trying to get me in and out as soon as possible so she could get to the next client, and that is the reason why she chose to use clippers versus scissors. In the grand scheme of things that’s not a huge deal and I probably wouldn’t have filed a complaint had she not blatantly told me at the front desk that I gave her a hard time, and she did this in front of multiple other employees and clients in the store. I don’t feel that this person represents your company the right way. I’ve been going to Sports Clips for years and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I believe the lady’s name is Holly, or that may have just been the other person checking me out at the front desk but I see that on my receipt the name is Holly. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions I’d be happy to answer those. But just know that I will no longer be going to this specific location anymore, nor will I be taking my three sons there to get their haircut. You’ve lost business due to this person and I hope you can get this situation resolved.
